Hi, I am Kate Marchetti:
I am the face behind Fly Away Photography. I am a lifestyle photographer based in Cambridge and Hamilton, Ontario. Ever since I was little I would use my parents’ camera and take pictures on my iPod touch. I wanted to be the photographer, I wanted to be the one to make people laugh and to capture those priceless moments. Launching Fly Away Photography during grade 9 in May 2018 has been one of the most rewarding experiences and I wouldn’t change it for anything. Thank you so much for being here and choosing me to document this special thing called life!

Authenticity
I want to capture who YOU are. Not how you think the photos should look or how you liked a certain 'pose.' Let's be present in the moment and capture your true self.
Passion
Passion drives creativity, and I love what I do. This passion allows the photos, the session experience, and everything in between to shine. We will work together to ensure we capture this moment in time exactly as it is.
Connection
It is no secret that kids grow up, parents get older, and bonds evolve over time. Unless you stop and see what is happening in the present moment, everything will fly by. I want to capture those connections and relationships you have now so you can look back 10 years from now and cherish them.
Fun Facts About Me
- I am a Group Fitness Instructor Specialist.
- I lived in Australia for 5 months.
- Photography has been my part-time job since grade 9.
- I graduated from McMaster in April, 2026. I am now off to Teacher's College!
- I put ketchup on everything... yes, even steak.
- Vanilla lattes are always my go-to coffee order.
- I love to thrift shop.
- I thrive while traveling; my bucket list is a mile long.
